Barnston / Maple Ridge Pump Station

In November 2011 Pedre Contractors Ltd. was awarded the Barnston/Maple Ridge Pump Station – External Piping.

This multi-million dollar project consisted of the following work:

Installation of 762mm diameter steel pipe, 914mm diameter pipe, and 1372mm diameter pipe including 2 air valves, 4 blowdowns, 2 access chambers and other appurtenances by open-cut method.
Installation of 1372mm diameter steel pipe including appurtenances by tunneling.
Supply and installation of 1 buried concrete pre-cast meter chamber complete with 914mm diameter steel pipe.
Construction of electrical conduit, cables, instrumentation, communications, cable trays, equipment, pull boxes, grounding, lighting and other electrical or miscellaneous equipment/components at flow meter chamber location.
