Pedre has undertaken trenchless crossings up to 145m long and 7 ft in diameter, using micro tunneling technology. Crossing major highways, railways, and water course is no problem for our crews. We utilize pipe bursting, pipe jacking and directional drilling to achieve the required results in the project’s ground conditions.
  • Road, railway, and highway crossings
  • Utility and Communications installations under forests, rivers and landscaping
  • Technology avoids cutting of new roads and sidewalks for duct and cable installations
Horizontal directional drilling (HDD) has been used for several years to install new water and sewer lines. Using HDD methods has many advantages over open cut methods, especially in congested areas and developed neighbourhoods, and jobs that require shoring because of depth of the installations. It saves the client time and money.
